The first element of any book that needs to be considered in the front cover. The front cover should convey the content of the book and your intensions of where the narrative is going.
Things to remember. The image used, the title, fonts used, color of the publication and title.
The strength of the photographs used-are the photographs advanced in technical ability, do they convey the intent of the author and are the appropriate for the overall subject of the narrative.
Subject-What is the book about, is there a vision in the book
Page layout-do the pages merge, not merge, a sense of being aware of what image goes where is important. The text should be considered, what font is used to convey a point and does it complement the images and the subject.
Emotional/intellectual impact does this book stay with you after reading it, does it have lasting power and would you pick it up again?
